NEW AGE ELT: NEW AGE TEACHERS FOR NEW AGE LEARNERS
ELT.Camp 2023 aimed to reevaluate the context of English language teaching by delving into the growing needs of contemporary learners. It explored innovative teaching methods, especially considering the increasing development of digital technology and the rising expectations of learners.
The ELT.CAMP 2023 event, catering to English teachers in the Mekong Delta region, unfolded with the participation of nearly 400 educators from public schools, private institutions, and language centers across provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bình Dương, An Giang, Đồng Tháp, Vĩnh Long, Kiên Giang, Sóc Trăng, Bến Tre, Bạc Liêu, and Cà Mau, with the special presence of some educators from the Phillipines.
The inaugural ELT.Camp 2023 was organized by Nam Phương Language Center (NPC) and Pro.Ed Education Solutions, and received support from over 10 leading publishers and educational service providers worldwide and in the region, including ClassIn, ELSA, e-future, IEC Group, Macmillan Education, MM Publications, National Geographic Learning, Oxford University Press, EduVerse, Cửu Long Education Company, and FAHASA Bookstore. Their participation enriched the experience for all attendees, aiding teachers in staying updated on global trends in English language teaching.
The event successfully explored innovative teaching methods, contributing to the enhancement of English language education in the new age.
