TESOL Training

The Context

A small school (~500 students) wanted to distinguish itself by incorporating technology in the classroom through the use of app-based learning on tablets in the classroom. While the technology was promising, the teachers struggled with integrating the technology into their lesson plans.




Through various deliverables such as needs and SWOT analysis, piloting and testing, Pro.Ed designed a short TESOL course customized for the school's context, delivered through LMS and face-to-face workshops, helping teachers understand how and when to use the technology in their lessons, and when not to. A framework to assess teachers' application of the knowledge learned in their teaching practices was also developed and used.
