Alla Lytvynenko is an experienced ESL teacher from Ukraine with over 22 years of teaching English at the secondary school level. She currently serves as the Head of the English Language Department at Dnipro Lyceum #144. Alla is a certified Cambridge TKT teacher (since 2013) and holds a CELTA certificate with Grade B (since 2017). She is an active member of IATEFL Ukraine and TESOL Ukraine. Alla has presented at international conferences in Moldova, Bulgaria, and Uzbekistan. Her professional interests focus on integrating modern technologies to foster 21st-century skills in language education.

This presentation aims to show how digital tools and AI can be used in the ESL classroom: adopting digital tools to meet learners and educators’ needs, the ways interactive virtual boards can be applied to promote 21st century learning skills and AI opportunities in teaching and learning English. Using modern digital tools and AI will foster students’ engagement and boost learners’ confidence and commitment. We will share examples of practical ESL activities to equip teachers through using digital tools and AI that promotes student encouragement, active learning and personal development.
