As I reflect on my own journey as a Language Instructor from diverse backgrounds, I've witnessed firsthand how intercultural communication can transform student’s perspective and performances. For second language learners, mastering a new language is only half the battle , truly connecting with native speakers requires understanding their culture, customs, and values. This connection builds meaningful relationships, fosters empathy and tolerance, accelerates language acquisition, and prepares learners for global careers.
Real stories illustrate impacts in engaging conversations.
Key takeaways:
- Intercultural communication
- Challenges
- Positive reinforcement
